Prehistoric Ireland (8) - Aran Islands: Inishmore

The Aran Islands are located just outside the mouth of Galway Bay. Geologically they are continuous with the Burren. The largest of the three islands is Inishmore where there is an Iron Age hill fort, Dun Aengus, perched right on the edge of the cliffs.
