Sun in the water

While walking along the canal towpath (see earlier post) I noticed what I first thought was the moon reflected in the water. I was surprised, because I didn't think we had a daytime moon at the moment. I looked up and realised that I was seeing a reflection of the sun, almost wholly obscured by cloud. The light conditions were changing constantly, the calmness or disturbance of the water changed constantly, so I stood for some time, taking a long sequence of images.
