A walk round Combrook - (3) path to the lake

A walk round Combrook - (2) brick and stone in black and white

A walk round Combrook - (1) village streets

This was a morning photo walk with my U3A group around the nearby picturesque village of Combrook. Our recent outings have suffered from overcast skies and dull light; this trip was on a gloriously sunny day, with clear bright light . . . which presents its own issues to a photographer!

Around Coughton Court in monochrome

One of the problems with an organised photography group is that planned dates may not coincide with appropriate weather and light. My U3A photo group had planned to go to Coughton Court to photograph bluebells, but we were rained off our original date. The reorganised date was dry but the light was murky, as with our previous outing! So, as with the images from that previous outing, I have resorted to monochrome to make something of the photographs I took. No bluebells will appear below! With our delayed date, and the warm weather earlier in the season, they were past their best, and 'going over'.
