Nature Table - collage for a Covid-19 year

I started this 'nature table' series at the summer solstice last year - and now it's summer solstice again; what a strange and unexpected year it has been. The posts have followed the 'wheel of the year': Summer Solstice, Lammas, Autumn Equinox, Samhain, Winter Solstice, Imbolc, Spring Equinox, Beltane - and round to Summer Solstice again. Here is a collage of the eight posts, together with a sunset at 'Equilux', which I posted along with the Spring Equinox image. (The equilux is when day and night are equal; except exactly at the equator, it occurs a few days before the spring equinox, and a few days after the autumn equinox. At my latitude it falls on 18th March.)

Below is a collage of some of the single items I photographed while compiling the 'tables'.

After a year of these images, I'm now thinking about what to do next - it won't be the same as this, but will be something that follows the seasons and the changes in the natural world.

June has arrived!

After a mostly cold, wet and grey month of May, June has suddenly arrived . . .

 . . . with summer skies:

. . . summer flowers:

. . . and increasingly late but still beautiful sunsets:
