I've photographed this avenue of trees many times - with bare branches, hoar frost, snow, autumn colour . . . today I was enjoying the bright lime green of the new leaves in bright afternoon sunshine.

Addition the next day: after an email conversation with a photographer friend, I experimented with turning the black and white image above into a negative. Shifting away from the conventional perception of light and shade changes what elements of the image claim your attention.
