Droitwich (1) - colour images

Droitwich presents a photographer with challenges. There are picturesque old buildings, some very old, so they are not square in any direction . . . as you start to process the image, do you line up the verticals or the horizontals? You can't do both . . . maybe do neither! Additionally, the town sits on top of old salt mine workings, and all the land is liable to subsidence, so it's not only the old buildings which are seriously wonky.

On the day we were there the weather was mostly grey and overcast; a flat, grey uninteresting light - another challenge. So here are just a few colour images - the next post has more monochrome images, which work better with the conditions.
