Harbourside coloured houses

This is the eleventh of a series of posts containing photos taken during a recent trip to Iceland and the Northern Isles.

A scene of brightly coloured houses rising from a harbour is familiar in Britain from images of Tobermory, Isle of Mull (see small image at left - not my photo!)







There is clearly a 'family resemblance' to these scenes (below) of coloured buildings in Torshavn, Faroe Islands.
