The Lord Leycester Hospital (often known simply as the Lord Leycester) is one of the best preserved examples of mediaeval courtyard architecture in England and is a charity supporting ex-servicemen (in similar vein to the more well-known Chelsea Hospital in London). This was the November outing for my U3A photography group. The light was indifferent and dull to start with, though brightening a little later. I have processed images in both colour and mono, starting here with outside in colour.

The main courtyard:

Rooftops of buildings beyond the central courtyard

An archway and trees in the main garden, that I became somewhat obsessed with!
